Q. How many days in advance do I need to make my vehicle moving arrangements?
A. We recommend submitting your order around two weeks in advance for cross country relocation. If you have an urgent situation, let us know and we will do our very best to accommodate your vehicle transport as a priority status. Please call us at (888) 443-2611 to discuss your needs.
Q. Do I need to be on site for the pick up or the delivery of my vehicle?
A. Yes we recommend that you be on site for the pick up or the delivery of your vehicle for inspection reasons. If it is not possible, please have someone there to represent you and sign the inspection form for our driver. Also it is important that we get all alternative possible phone numbers.
Q. How long will it take to transport my vehicle?
A. There are two major factors in determining how long it will take to transport your vehicle. First, the distance between pick-up and the delivery locations. And second, weather conditions and traffic may lengthen your vehicle’s transit time. Normally, state to state transport may take 1 to 3 days while coast to coast transport would take approximately 5 to 7 days.
Q. What is Door to Door transport?
A. Door to Door transport means that we will pick up and deliver your vehicle at the address provided to us. In the event that our driver and is carrier cannot get to your front door due to difficult road ways, arrangement will be made between the recipient and the carrier driver to bring your vehicle to the nearest location possible for your convenience.
Q. Can I pack things in my vehicle?
A. Generally, we recommend that you do not ship any personal belongings inside your vehicle. However, a few small items packed in the trunk are acceptable but should not exceed 50 lbs. Please keep in mind that the carriers are not responsible for any broken items.
Q. What kind of truck will my vehicle be shipped on?
A. Either an open carrier, like the trucks you’ve seen transporting vehicles to and from auto dealership, or an enclosed carrier, which we recommend if you are shipping a custom or exotic car or truck. Q. How do I find out if my vehicle will be delivered on time?
A. Our dispatching department team will be in direct contact with the carrier and will be able to inform you about your vehicle transportation and answer any question you may have. You can also use our tracking system to your convenience.
Q. Is my vehicle insured during transportation?
A. Yes, your vehicle is insured while being transported. By law, all carriers are required to have their own insurance. Our driver will perform a full inspection of the exterior of your vehicle prior to pick up so it is delivered in the same condition.
Q. What type of payment can I use and when do I pay?
A. A small deposit will be taken on a credit or debit card upon your confirmation on moving your vehicle with us so we can secure a spot on a carrier. The balance of the payment will be given to the carrier driver at pick up or delivery witch ever is convenient for you. A certified payment is required at this time (cashier’s check, money order, cash or travelers check).
Q. What if I need to cancel?
A. Our goal is to provide you with the best service and vehicle moving experience possible and we understand that at time things can change so you will be refunded at 100 % when canceled 7 days or more prior to estimated pickup date.
